Shankar Pharmacy's production unit consist of 34 members who are skilled, specialised and well experienced in their own areas and departments. A well-equipped lab pertaining to GMP standards with all the necessary equipments to ensure that the quality of every batch of medicine is maintained.
Production unit is well endowed with all the facilities required. A capsule section is there which include automated stripping machine, filling machine etc. de-mineralised water is used for all production purposes. And for this a well set purification plant has been installed. A kitchen with all modern equipments is being furnished. Fully automated medicine packing unit is functioning to meet the increased production. Apart from all these all facilities is being maintained to prepare the medicines in the classical method. All these are kept in a clean and hygienic environment.

Dr Gangadharan conceived these words to the fullest and is adamant about the quality of the medicines. Shankar pharmacy took first step in the year 1962 and still going never compromised with the quality of the medicines. The acolytes of Dr K.S. Gangadharan also took the oath to maintain the stringent quality standards and thrive hard to be like a physician as per Charaka’s words.
“A physician who fails to enter the body of a patient with the lamp of knowledge and understanding can never treat diseases.He should first study all the factors including environment which influence a patient’s disease and then prescribe treatment.
